The National Jewish Museum™
First established in the B'nai B'rith Phillip and Ethel Klutznick Exhibit Hall in 1957, the National Jewish Museum is today one of the most widely recognized museums in the United States. The Museum's 1800 artifacts reflect a fascinating cross-section of Jewish life and culture.
Among the Museum's treasures are ceremonial and folk art for daily use and a collection of paintings, drawings, graphics, and sculpture by well-known artists, including Marc Chagall, Ben Zion, Malcah Zeldis, Edna Hibel, Art Spiegelman, and Philip Ratner.
Lessons about tolerance and coexistence pervade the National Jewish Museum™. Through the universal language of art, the Museum promotes B'nai B'rith's commitment to building understanding among all peoples.
Currently, the Museum is presenting a Virtual Gallery of selected artifacts online. Please visit the museum's Virtual Gallery by clicking here.

Philip Lax Archive (B'nai B'rith Archives)
The Philip Lax Archive (B'nai B'rith Archives), under the aegis of the National Jewish Museum™ illuminates not only B'nai B'rith's proud history but also historic moments in Jewish history as far back as 1700. The Archive's thousands of manuscripts, charters, medals, letters, memorabilia, and other artifacts represent a treasured primary resource for researchers.
The B'nai B'rith Holocaust-Related Materials Collection, assembled in 2006 from the Archives, was made possible by a generous grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, Inc. — Rabbi Israel Miller Fund for Shoah Research, Documentation and Education. This collection adds significant new dimensions to Holocaust scholarship.
Researchers who want to access the B'nai B'rith Archives, a collection of manuscripts and other primary history resources, should email museum@bnaibrith.org or call 202-857-6572 or 866-533-6249.
